\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNo Mother Should Have to Raise Her Cubs Among Rubbish!<\/strong>

To the residents of a neighbourhood in Bra\u0219ov, where she appeared almost every night, she had become known simply as Ursa<\/strong>. She was not alone. Injured and limping badly, she carefully led her two cubs in search of food. Thin and hungry, Valentin and Jackie had yet to experience the peace of the forest; all they knew were the bins near people\u2019s homes and the danger of encountering humans.

Although every step caused her pain, Ursa never abandoned her cubs. She continued to protect them and search for food among the rubbish. Eventually, the authorities intervened, and the entire family was safely captured and transported to the AMP Libearty Sanctuary<\/strong>. Ursa no longer has to lead her cubs through rubbish to survive. Valentin and Jackie can now grow up safely alongside their mother in a natural habitat where they can live as bears should, while Ursa can recover without worrying about how she will feed them.

However, their rescue journey is only just beginning.<\/strong> The veterinary team will assess their health, Ursa will begin treatment for the injury that causes her to limp, and the entire family will be dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped. Ursa and her cubs will spend the rest of their lives at the AMP Libearty Sanctuary, where they will need food, medical care, vitamins and protection every day. The cubs will remain with their mother in a specially designed enclosure until they are old enough to explore the Libearty forest alongside the sanctuary\u2019s other bears.
