Thousands of abandoned dogs are waiting for a chance at a better life. By adopting, you not only give an animal a family - you also make room for other dogs in need.
There are two ways you can help:
- Physical adoption - you give a dog a permanent home.
- Virtual adoption - you contribute to the care of a dog at the shelter.
Physical adoption
Give them a forever home
The Millions of Friends Association promotes responsible adoption through an agreement outlining the conditions necessary to ensure the animal’s well-being.
All dogs in AMP’s care are well cared for, vaccinated, and prepared to join a new family. The adoption process ensures that each dog is placed in a safe environment suited to their needs.
Adoption Requirements
To adopt a dog from the AMP Victory Shelter, the adopter must live at the address where the dog will be kept.
For people living in a house, the dog’s designated area must include a concrete-floored enclosure with a drainage channel for waste and a suitable kennel. The yard must be securely fenced to prevent any risk of escape while the dog adjusts to its new environment.
Small dogs are adopted only by people who can keep them indoors, while large dogs are adopted exclusively by people who live in a house with a yard. The Millions of Friends Association does not place dogs for adoption outside the municipality of Brașov.
The adoption can be finalized only after a representative of the Millions of Friends Association has inspected the home where the dog will live.
