Cocolina lived encaged in the same zoo in Tecuci (Galati County), where Nadia and Igor lived. The presence of the two bears made her captivity easier to bare. The girls built a great and strong friendship during the years spent behind bars and in the summer of 2009 when Cocolina was also brought and released in the Sanctuary after 7 years of captivity they just enjoyed each other’s presence and were happy to share the same forest enclosure. Now they are playing and bathing together, having always Igor watching over them.
