Puppy was found with his sister Pamy in the woods when they were just a few months old. Small and helpless, they were captured and thrown into a cage near a boarding house in the tourist resort of Straja.
For five years Puppy has been a toy for the amusement of visitors. No one complained and no one cared about his fate. In the summer of 2007 Puppy, as well as his sister, were seized by the authorities and released into the forest of the AMP Libearty sanctuary. Here they have enough food, water and space to enjoy a normal bear life.
