A mother bear and her two cubs, a male and a female, both four months old, arrived at the AMP Libearty Sanctuary. Fearing a tragedy, the authorities in Brașov decided to bring the bear family to the Sanctuary because the mother was taking her cubs to the hotels area in Poiana Brașov every day to search for food.
The mother bear and her cubs have been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and medically examined and will spend a period of adjustment in one of the special pens in the sanctuary.
