Elaine was only four months old when she arrived at the sanctuary with her mother Alpina and brother David. The authorities in Brașov asked us to take over the bear family because of the dangers they were exposed to and for the protection of the people in the area. The mother bear and her two cubs were increasingly entering the hotel area of ​​Poiana Brașov and were at risk of being hit by cars at any moment.

Elaine has a more rebellious nature, loves to climb trees and plays with her brother all day long under the watchful eyes of their mother.

Adopt Elaine with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
