Halewood is not available for adoption.

For 11 years, Halewood was Graeme’s cell mate at the Baia Mare zoo. They shared their suffering not only as room-mates but also as friends. Their friendship still lasts at the Libearty sanctuary, where they were released on October 11, 2013.

Adopt Halewood with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
