Thomas is the frailest of the six orphaned bear cubs that arrived at the end of August 2024 in the Libearty Sanctuary. Thomas and his three sisters were rescued from Slănic Moldova, where they were often seen with their mother at local dumpsters. In August, the cubs began to descend on their own, a sign that their mother had been killed and they were orphaned too young to fend for themselves. Although noticeably smaller than his sisters, Thomas is the most curious and mischievous. It is often seen running, climbing trees, or trying to scare away any humans that pass by their pen.

Adopt Thomas with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
