Jimmy - Asociația Milioane de Prieteni

Jimmy was a prisoner for 11 years in a small concrete and iron cage in the court yard of a bread factory in Arcuș- Covasna. With him was his sister Jexie. The factory owner said that he rescued the two bears while chased by a dog pack and he took them in custody. Unfurtunately this owner decided to keep the bears as pets. They grew up iar the cage has became little by little, unfitted for two mature bears. They even had cubs toghether but what happened with them is a mistery. In 2012 Jimmy and Jexie were confiscated with the help of National Enviromental Guard and released in Libearty Sanctuary.

Adopt Jimmy with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
