Cocolino - Asociația Milioane de Prieteni

Cocolino was bought with a sale and purchase agreement from a circus in Oradea by a man who lived in Fagaras. He took the bear to his Hotel & Restaurant named Ciucaş (in a village near Fagaras named Mandra) and locked him up in a metal cage somewhere outside, close enough to the restaurant so that visitors could see him.

He spent 7 long years there until a tourist who found accommodation at the hotel, informed Libearty about the bad conditions the bear was living in and in May 2008, with the support of the National Environmental Guard, Cocolino joined the other free bears from the “Libearty” Sancuary.

Adopt Cocolino with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
