Project Description
Diana was still alive when she was found in a den in the forest, by a forester. She was the only survivor of 3 abandoned bear cubs and because she was only few months old, she was taken to a veterinarian. The doctor took care of her, fed her by bottle and offered her the necessary conditions to recover.
In July 2008, when Diana turned 5 months, she was brought to the sanctuary and spent a few more months in the quarantine. Since the spring of 2009 when she was released in a large enclosure, she’s living a normal bear life enjoying the freedom of the forest and the great company of the other bears from the Sanctuary.
