În August 2010, Telo was willingly surrendered by the owner of a hostel from Beclean, who found the small cub lost and scared in the forest nearby. He contacted the Millions of Friends Association who accepted to take over and care for the 1 year old bear cub. First, Telo spent a few weeks in the quarantine area and then he was released in the cub’s enclosure where he met his first friends. One year later he was moved in the third forest enclosure where he has a lot of space to chase and play with the other bears, and also take long baths in the big pool with spring water.

This bear is not available for adoption.

Adopt Telo with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
