Project Description
Anima is exclusively adopted by HP and is not available for adoption.
Anima is a young bear who was hit by a car in early July 2019, near Brasov. She arrived in the AMP Libearty sanctuary where she received care, but to rescue her a complicated right-back leg surgery was needed. A german veterinarian of romanian origin, dr. Fritz Hartman, urgently came to Romania to participate in her rescue.
Throughout the intervention he was helped by the collaborator doctor of the Millions of Friends Association, Dr. Ciprian Cocianu. The surgery lasted for six hours. The broken femur was caught with a titanium plate caught in 10 screws. A tough recovery time followed, but today it is completely restored and exploring at will the nature offered by AMP Libearty.
