Project Description
Miro is not available for adoption.
Miro was brought to the sanctuary in May 2007 as a small bear cub. He was found wandering alone on the outskirts of a forest, near the town of Perșani in central Romania. He may got lost from his mother as female bears with cubs often come near to towns in search for food at garbage bins. The cub needed a lot of care and attention for the first 6 months. He was bottle fed with goat milk and there was always someone from the Libearty team keeping him company as he was sad and crying all the time. But he quickly grew out of this and when he was 18 months old he was released in a forest enclosure with other young bears.
