Myra - Asociația Milioane de Prieteni

Until the summer of 2019, Myra was one of the bears who descended among the tourists from Saint Ana Lake, in search of food. The young bear was only 5 years old and came along with her two months old cubs. Because it was beginning to be considered a danger to people and there was a discussion about ′′ eliminating ′′ them from the area, even by shooting, we decided to welcome them into the AMP Libearty sanctary.

Myra and the cubs, Enoch and Arden, have settled in very quickly to the quiet and carefree life in the sanctuary, where they receive daily food suitable for them. Myra was baptized by british actor Peter Egan and wears his wife’s name.

Adopt Myra with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
