Anca - Asociația Milioane de Prieteni

The Million of Friends Association has struggled for Anca for almost 10 years. Her rescue seemed to be a hardly accomplished dream, because of the stubbornness of those who owned her! She lived in the Piatra Neamţ Zoo for more than 25 years. She spent her time in a small, miserable cage, and she was allowed to go out only once in a while on a grassy space, that was on a very steep slope anyway.

Most likely, Anca was born in captivity, at a circus. It seems that at some point, together with her sister Ina (living at the Libearty Sanctuary since 2014) she attacked her trainer. After that they were sold to the Piatra Neamt Zoo.

Adopt Anca with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
