Jexie, Jimmy’s sister, lived for 11 years in a cage in the court yard of a bread factory in Arcuș- Covasna. The factory owner said that he rescued the two when they were little bears while chased by a dog pack and rescued them from their fangs. He kept them as pets . They even had cubs but no one knows what happened with them. In 2012 the bears were confiscated with the help og National Enviromental Guard.

Adopt Jexie with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
