Katyusha was 14 when she arrived at Libearty in 2013. She lived all her life in the Bucov Zoo, Prahova. She didn’t know how to walk on grass, how to climb a tree, or what enough food meant.

But he found out what freedom means in the bear sanctuary. Here no one laughs at her, the food is enough and she can walk freely through the forest she has never met.

This bear is not available for adoption.

Adopt Katyusha with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
