Tosca, Archie & Chester - Asociația Milioane de Prieteni

Two five year old brothers – Archie and Chester, and their sister – Tosca, were born at the Timișoara Zoo and have lived there for the first part of their lives. So, they were born just to attract visitors. When they became bigger and „unattractive“ and the Environment Agency enforced the authorities to obey the European rules about the necessary space for the bears, the zoo officials asked for Millions of friends’ help, in order to take over the bears. They went in the sanctuary on the 17^th of November 2015 and found the peace for the rest of their lives.

The bear Tosca is not available for adoption.

Adopt Tosca, Archie & Chester with a minimum donation of 5 euros / month (60 euros / year). With this contribution, we can ensure that the adopted bear has a honey jar every month. When you finish the donation for a year, we will send you an adoption certificate.

We appreciate if you can support a greater part of the need for the bear’s care. If you represent a company, you can adopt a bear exclusively with a donation of 600 euro / month. The company's logo, accompanied by the name of the adopted bear, will be placed in the sanctuary. Over 30,000 visitors will see that the company you represent is involved in animal welfare.
