Terrible images discovered in a dog shelter in Prejmer (Brașov county), from where the Millions of Friends Association took 17 dogs, in critical condition!
Zooky is a very nice old lady, full of personality, hyper-active and playfull, despite her age! Unfortunatelly she had to accept a collar instead of a gift from Santa Claus, because she always tried to chew her tail.
The president of The Millions of Friends Association, Cristina Lapis, presented in the European Parliament the problem of the stray dogs and the solutions to solve it, at the premiere of the movie „A dog’s life – The homeless dogs of Romania“, directed by
Kira almost lost her life, because she was born almost blind. So, the former owners decided that it would be better to put her to sleep forever.
Moșu’ (The Old Man) is 10 years old and he came to the gate of the Victoy dog shelter, probably attracted by the smell of food and by the other dogs’ woofs.
Mowgli is a real beauty, is two years old and he has been living for a few months in the Victory dog shelter that belongs to the Millions of Friends Association. Mowgli was abandoned by its former owners and this was a real trauma for the poor animal.
This is how a dog lived for 13 years in somebody’s yard and his owner said he have not found anyone to cut his hair for more than three years.
The beauty in the pictures came from Zărnești and had a horrible tumor on her back: large and very dangerous for the poor animal”s life.
The little female dog in the pictures has been through very difficult moments! She was found on the streets in Zărnești and, hardly saved from others' dogs teeth!
A female dog recovered by the fire department in Zărneşti, from a tar pit, passed well over the most difficult stage! The little one is in the Victory Dog Shelter and receives medical treatment.
