The Libearty sanctuary has been visited by a group from the “Saint Joseph“ house for children in need
14 children, that come from families in difficulty, visited the bears from our sanctuary, for free. They came with their chaperones to visit the bears, find out their stories, and to enjoy the nature and relax.

Evanna Lynch named one of the bears from Libearty
Evanna Lynch - the actress who played the famous character Luna, in the Harry Potter films, decided to give a name to a female bear that was rescued by the Libearty bear sanctuary after she had wandered on the streets of Ploiești, last Christmas.

ETN named the two bears they adopted in February
Europäischer Tier- und Naturschutz e.V from Germany named two of the bears that were saved by the Millions of Friends Association and live now in the Libearty sanctuary.

The two bear cubs were transferred in a provisional enclosure
The two orphaned bear cubs found four months ago near a den in Bogatii Forest, without their mother, will be transferred today in a provisional enclosure at Libearty Sanctuary.

A gift for the children, from Libearty
The bears in the Libearty sanctuary prepared a gift for the children who will visit the sanctuary on the 1st of June. The special guests of the sanctuary, on the Universal Children's Day, will be children!

The Libearty sanctuary, visited by the Polish runners from “The Transylvania One Hundred“ competition
A group of Polish runners, who ran for “The Transylvania One Hundred“, visited the Libearty sanctuary during the weekend. 16 adults and 4 children, coming from a Polish sports club prepared special t-shirts for their visit in Romania.
