For the first time in the history of our country, an animal protection association received an honorary recognition from the Royal House of Romania, during the evening dedicated to Civic Courage. The distinction was awarded to the Association of Millions of Friends and the captive bear rescue project, AMP Libearty, in the “Life Savers” category.
The 25 years of activity of the Millions of Friends Association and the 17 years of existence of the Libearty bear sanctuary were honored by Her Majesty Margareta the Custodian of the Crown and His Royal Highness Prince Consort Radu, in a festive setting, at the Royal Palace in Bucharest.
