King was temporarely transfered in Monica’s enclosure to start the accommodation with other bears. This is an intermediate step for his movement in the larger enclosures.
Here, King has more bushes and trees than he had in the quarantine area. So he has enough places to hide, when he wants to.
King went in the Libearty sanctuary in October 2018, after The Millions of Friends Association tried for more than 10 years to take him to the Libearty sanctuary from the Dragos Voda wisons reserve (Vanatori, Neamt county), where his name was Bobita. The medical expenses and the transport costs were supported by Welttierschutzgesellschaft (WTG).
