The famous pianist Simon Mulligan and the the British actor Peter Egan, well-known for his role in the Downton Abey series inaugurated the educational farm of domestic animals saved by the Millions of Friends Association. The farm was created on the land associated to the sanctuary in Zărnești.
The farm was conceived first of all to be visited by the children who have never had the chance to see how the cow is milked or how a henhouse looks like. Each animal from the farm has a touching story. Healed of wounds or diseases, well taken care of, the sheep, goars, turkeys, rabbits, donkeys and horses who found a shelter here will have, from now on, a happy life and the children who will visit them will have the chance to play with them and even to feed them.
Impressed with what he saw, Peter Egan decided to become the ambassador of the farm and engage in fundraising campaigns for the care of these animals.
