The company management responded promptly to the call of our association, and on a weekend the full staff – together with their children – came to visit the Sanctuary. „ I knew about the regulations on sponsorship and redirecting 20% of the tax. We found out that we can redirect the tax to AMP, from the letter we have received in January”, says Ramona Milata, legal advisor of the company.
“The bears are the best spokespersons!”
The Quin staff found out the stories of the bears from the Sanctuary and then watched the documentary about how AMP rescues the animals. This is how they have decided to use the opportunity created by the Tax Code. „It was not a difficult decision. Visiting the Sanctuary, the hard work, the passion and dedication of the people who take care of the bears and last but not least, the bears with their stories, convinced us. When you arrive to the Sanctuary and you realize the work, the determination to save the bears and the continuous struggle, the decision to help AMP came as a natural thing. “The bears are the best spokespersons!”, says Ramona, testifying to a fact that few people suspect. „The load is on the shoulders of those involved in their rescue.”
A few days after the visit, AMP has received the sponsorship contract. “After signing the contract, the payment was made. Regarding the steps we have followed – the tax calculations and the statement 101 – We conducted our sponsorship in February 2013, so it is too early to speak of calculations for the income tax, especially as the final calculation of the income tax for the current year and including the deduction of the expenses incurred with the sponsorships, will be able to be seen only next year in March, when the declaration 101 is lodged “, explains the legal advisor.
