Starting August 21st, visitors to Libearty have the opportunity to tour the sanctuary by riding the Libearty Train. This unusual vehicle has 24 seats in a special wagon that’s pulled by a tractor, strong as a bear. The tractor was financed by the Marchig Animal Welfare Trust, an animal protection organization from UK that supports projects all around the world. Thanks to their generosity, we can now offer people the chance to see more of the sanctuary and its 75 brown bears as they live normal, free lives in their natural environment. The little train has been welcomed by visitors, especially older people, who don’t have the stamina for the hilly landscape, and children, who love a ride to see the bears!
