Yes, the bear from the image above is as live as he can be. Why hunting them down and kill them for trophies when they can be so beautiful to our site, lying naturally on the ground of their forest, relaxing on the mud or grass or wherever they feel comfortable, not in the living-room of an expensive chalet or hospice.
His name is Marinica and he just ate too much. All that food received from the Sanctuary team and those fresh acorns he ate while sitting on the branch of his favorite oak…was that too much? Now he’s sleeping on his “tummy” hoping his weight will be enough to flatten his paunch and he dreams about an athletic silhouette that will allow him to climb again an old oak, and eat more acorns…but not now…later.
