Update: With big efforts, the sanctuary's employees and partners managed to clear the forest road to the sanctuary. Still, it is recommended that you attach snow chains to the drive wheels!

The huge amounts of snow that fell last night blocked the forest road to the Libearty sanctuary. Thus, the sanctuary will remain closed today, January 18th 2018.
But the snow turned the sanctuary in a dream place. Everything is looking like in a fairy tale, from the frozen trees, to the administrative area and the bears are enjoying the quietness and the wonder of nature.
Unfortunately, the snow storm made the protection of the camera used for the webstreaming freeze. Still, you can enjoy their happiness, as we managed to record Pamy and her three cubs playing in the snow!
The Libearty's employees are working to free the way. We will let you know when the road can be used again!
