UPDATE (March 21, 2018): The deer rescued from the creek in Zărnești went through a surgery! She is very fragile and we pray she will be able to face this difficult period in her life!

The deer rescued yesterday by firefighters after falling in the creek of Zărneşti is finally safe! The little one was taken over by the medical emergency team from the Millions of Friends Association and transported to the Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zărneşti.
Because she had injuries at her head and wounds on her spine, the vet decided to enter an emergency surgery. The deer is one year and a half old and now she is taking antibiotics. She is very fragile and we pray she will be able to face this terrible period in her life!
