Dog about town

It’s said that walking makes for beautiful legs. But dogs don’t care about beauty, and for some, walking can get too tiring. That’s why some prefer… the bus. A young male dog about two years old was caught “without a ticket” after several hours of riding. And… being high-bred, a poodle, he found a good seat near the window to be sure that he could admire the city in all its splendor. He didn’t get off after the first round, or the second, or the ones after that. For five hours he “walked” the same route. Nobody knows how he got on the bus. Did he climb on by himself, or was he forgotten or abandoned by his owner? The AMP team learned that in one of the buses on a particular route was a lonely puppy, waiting to be found, but finding him proved difficult. “When we started looking for him, we didn’t even know which bus the dog was on, or what area to search. I drove the bus route in my car and got on a few buses to search for him. Eventually I found out exactly which bus he was riding, and I stopped the bus on its route. When I got on, the dog was alone on the bus. He was sitting on a seat by the window,” says veterinary assistant Ciprian David.
The dog arrived at the Victory shelter, where he was immediately examined carefully. He’s healthy, well cared for, and well fed. Unfortunately he had no tags or collar on his neck, so we couldn’t find his owner.

Anyone who recognizes him or wants him back home is asked to contact AMP.
