After King was puzzled by the first snow of this winter, he wakes up for a few days, to enjoy the fresh and cold air in the Libearty sanctuary.
In comparison with how disoriented he was at the beginning, King is now very tranquil and goes to his “couch“ with hay in the quarantine area for a few days, to get some sleep. Then, he comes out again on the snow, for a few days, and seems to feel at home.
Considering his behaviour that proves he missed the forest, he might be ready to join other bears, who have a larger area covered with trees and bushes, in the spring.
