AMP’s Victory Shelter is being renovated. The Bund gegen Missbrauch der Tiere e.V. (BMT) Foundation of Germany donated 12 new pens that are about to be installed for shelter residents. Work is in full swing, and the available 220 square meters are thoroughly prepared to offer the best conditions for the dogs.
The old pens located on this land were demolished and will be replaced with ones made of special concrete that’s polished and treated to withstand the conditions of a dog shelter. Each pen has reservoirs and drains in the front and the rear that capture water and waste. A pen is about 8 square meters and is equipped with a retreat of the same size. About 100 dogs will enjoy the increased comfort of the new pens.
Twelve other pens will be completely refurbished by AMP.
