Because they have been good and washed their teeth, the sanctuary bears have received from the Libearty bees a hell of a desert – honey on bread. After a long thrift, the AMP team – the one that ensures the daily welfare of 72 brown bears – came to the conclusion that the money received from good people, like you, are enough not only for the everyday food, but also for dessert. We have studied on long-term the whims of the furry ones from the sanctuary, and it wasn’t difficult to decide: there are two kind of foods among their favorite ones: bread and honey. So all we had to do was to combine the two and offer the bears a tasty surprise.
Preparing the desert has begun immediately. The sanctuary team has cut the loaves in half and core them out, then filled the void of the bread with honey. The last step – the filling was capped with the “removed” bread crumb, thus ensuring that no drop of the precious “sweetness” will get wasted. The „Maxi croissants filled with honey” have been placed in boxes and taken to the destination, where they have been thrown over the fence, right in the arms of the bears. Lazy and sly by nature, the bears have taken out the core and licked the honey… There you go education, there you go culture!
