How do bears spend their time at the Sanctuary? What do they do? These are questions that we humans often ponder, and we’d love some answers. Well, as you may already know, bears spend most of their time sleeping, climbing the oak trees, swimming in the pools, playing… But above all, they socialize—sometimes in the same ways we do.
It’s pretty obvious that the two “girls” in the photo above are having a great time. Gina and Sofia are sisters, and they’re connected not just by blood but also by the suffering they endured together in a rusty cage at a mini-zoo in Miercuriea Ciuc. Now, as they leave the past (and autumn) behind, these two were spotted on a beautiful November morning, spicing things up with laughter and joy. What could be more fun than chatting with your sister? They skipped the morning bath routine entirely—Gina had important gossip to share with Sofia about the other “girls” from the enclosure. Unfortunately we can’t pass it on to you since we weren’t privy to their conversation.
