Hansel, virtually adopted by the new British ambassador

Hansel was virtually adopted by the new British ambassador to Bucharest, Andrew Noble. He announced the adoption in his first official press conference as an ambassador.

“Although I've been in Romania for a short period, I have already adopted Hanse, a bear from the Zarnesti sanctuary. I can assure you that when my children return to school in the UK, the fact that a family member lives only in Romania will represent a depth of their relationship, Noble said.

Andrew Noble visited the Libearty sanctuary on August 19th 2018, as a private person.

The previous ambasador, Paul Brummell, is also a supporter of the Libearty bear sanctuary, which he visited a few times and promoted even during the 2017 Queen's Day reception.
