In a short jury break of a music festival, held in Zarnesti, Mirabela Dauer made a small foray into the world of the bears from Libearty. Being an animal lover and understanding the suffering endured by the sanctuary bears, singer could barely say a few words being overwhelmed by emotions. „It is a source of wonder and I’m starting to have hope that there are people who deserve our respect. I am very impressed. I am a great animal- lover, I was very impressed by Maya and her tragedy. It’s hard for me to speak, but in any case what is happening here is a source of wonder and I do not know what value has my thanks, but I would like to thank those in charge of it. They made a miracle possible. It is thrilling”, says Mirabela whispering, to mask the emotions of her voice.
The singer knew the tragedies these majestic animals have experienced fom TV. „ Whenever I saw their misery on TV and I was unable to do anything, I was desperate and wondered isn’t there someone thinking about them too”, says Mirabela, arguing that „everything that breaks down in this world, it is because of us. I don’t know why… God has created us all beautiful and good. And also God has touched you and helped you to create this wonderful place”.
The bears, defended by wickedness and abomination
The star, whose famous songs have become classics for Romanian culture, passed the hill and managed to reach the Training Area, where Mia an Monica are waiting for the day when they will walk into the third Enclosure. „I’m so happy that these bears can be free and happy and defended by wickedness and abomination”, concluded the singer. Like most visitors, Mirabela Dauer left excited and with the batteries charged with optimism.
