Pondering on a rock

meditatie pe piatra meditatie piatra 2

Time goes by for people and bears. Another year is coming to an end, and most of us are reflecting on the things we’ve done—our personal, professional, or financial accomplishments—in a year that will soon end. If you think that bears don’t do the same, you’re wrong!
Take Katy for example. She came “home” five years ago after spending 20 long years of captivity in a zoo in Caracal. Her white collar has been her legacy since her “cubhood,” and she wears it proudly as she gets older. She’s now mature enough to sit down and ponder the events of her life. After carefully grooming her white collar, she laid down on a rock that was heated by the sun. She took a look around to make sure the other bears wouldn’t interrupt her, and then she cleared her mind and started her meditation. As the sun shone down on her fur, Katy’s mind wandered restlessly in search of the meaning of life…
