Do you know a company in Romania? The Romanian state enables administrators to direct a part of their tax to animal protection NGOs, without losing anything. Under the Tax Code 571/2003 updated, Title 2, Ch. II, Article 21 (4), letter p) „ taxpayers who make sponsorships and / or acts of patronage, according to Law no. 32/1994 on sponsorship, as amended, deducted from the tax the amounts, if the total of these expenses meet the following conditions: – Is within 3 per thousand of sales; – Not exceed more than 20% of the tax. “
How can you help? It’s easy
Get in touch with the company representatives and make them direct the tax in the amount of a donation made to the Millions of Friends Association. Targeting the tax is simple, and the company loses nothing from the profits conducted with labor, more over he can help animals directly and the Romanian society indirectly. If you have managed to convince them, there is a sponsorship contract bellow, completed with the association’s details. All you have to do is to give the company managers this contract. They will fill it in and will give the company accountant a copy in order to fill in the Electronic Statement 101, which subsequently will be submitted to the tax authorities.
What does the company receive in exchange for it’s aid?
Completing a sponsorship contract, the company receives a contribution for advertising. AMP will make the donor’s name public same as with it’s partners. Furthermore, the „Millions of Friends” Association can organize special visits to the Bear Sanctuary in Zărnești for the officers and the employees of the company (www.ampbears.ro).
In exchange for the donation, we can guarantee by invoices and receipts the destination of the received money, that will be used 100% only for the benefit of animals.
Why AMP and not other organization ?
„Millions of Friends” is the first animal protection association in Romania. Pioneers of activism for the animal welfare, AMP has rescued over time 10.000 animals: cats, dogs, horses, wolves, bears and all kind of domestic or wild animals in need of help. The Association has set up and now operates a dog shelter in Triaj, but it is also known for the largest bear sanctuary in Europe, established in 2006 in Zărneşti. 70 rescued bears from bad conditions have found acommodation here and they all eat about one tone of food a day. Rescuing stray dogs, developing free sterilization campaigns, AMP has made it’s first steps to reduce the number of the street dogs. Rescuing the captive bears near restaurants, from circuces or zoos, we have showed that Romania can be a civilized country where the laws are respected.
