In the second week of May, AMP has receved the visit of the representatives of the Brigitte Bardot Foundation (FBB). The delegation was made up of dr. Joel Gagnaire, the”favorite” vet of the famous Brigitte Bardot, and Brigitte Auloy, project coordinator at the Foundation.
In the program, besides the visit to the dog shelter in Triaj and the Bear Sanctuary, they were provided with several visits to dog shelters in our country, that FBB supports financialy for many years. Over time, FBB has granted financial aid to the Bear Sanctuary and the delegation was impressed by the way the sanctuary has developed in recent years. „We are glad that the foundation representatives have appreciated the quality of the AMP staff and the conditions that we do our best to offer to the animals we have in care. In fact, my meeting with Brigitte Bardot underlies the establishment of the dog shelter and the Bear Sanctuary as well. Brigitte has been and still is the good fairy of animals and due to the constant and generous support of its foundation we could save thousands of animals. The Brigitte Bardot Foundation is a protective structure of animals with the people working there and with their running policy and it has served me as an example, gave me the strength to continue all these years and to belive in a better world, where animals are respected and acknowledged as beings”, said Cristina Lapis, President of AMP.
