March has “put its foot down,” waking up nature from a long winter-sleep. The grass blinks in the loamy earth of the sanctuary, and the flowers raise their heads towards the sun in greeting. The sun’s rays knock shyly at the mouth of Yogi’s den, the bear we presented in a video a few months ago, hibernating with all his 400 kilos. Do you remember him?
Like all his colleagues, Yogi has stepped out of his den, lured by the sun and grass. Sporting the same brown fur, their eyes small and puffed from sleep, these bears seem confused. The budding oaks and the fresh grass have convinced the sanctuary bears to lock their dens and enjoy a thawing walk.
