Winter is not like summer…especially in the mountain area! It is no longer a surprise that winter has fully entered its rights, the snow cover is a consistent one and more snow is announced in the days to come.
To the AMP Libearty Zărnești sanctuary you drive in winter conditions!
The maintenance team works daily for your safety. Not only the paths of the sanctuary are properly cleared, but also the access road that connects the main road to the sanctuary.
You have about two and a half kilometers to drive on a mountain road, and with an improperly prepared car you risk skidding and getting stuck in the ditches on the side.
The Libearty Sanctuary does not own the road and assumes no responsibility for incidents that can occur due to non-observance of minimum winter traffic rules.
Winter tires are a must and chains are recommended for any road covered with snow and ice! Drivers with all-season (mixed) tires can only climb the access hill to the sanctuary with the chains on!
At the same time, we ask all visitors to the AMP Libearty sanctuary to have suitable equipment for a walk through the forest.. outdoors.
