Project Description

Barry, 24 years old, arrived in the Libearty in early September 2011. He lived in the Târgoviște Zoo, but no one knows how he arrived there. What we know is that he was sentenced to an undeserved prison, for the amusement of visitors. In Libearty he enjoyed the freedom and met his friend, Belle. For 8 years he was free, he could walk in the forest and was loved and respected as each animal deserves. In November 2019, age 33, Barry joined the other bears which are now in the Ursa Major constellation.
