Project Description

Nadia and Igor were brother and sister and they came from a Zoo from Tecuci (Galati County). Next to the cage of the two lived Cocolina. Nadia and Cocolina became best friends and they suffered very much when Nadia left the zoo with Igor in November 2008. The 9 years old brothers have spent the first winter in the quarantine zone of the Sanctuary and they were released in the big enclosure in the spring of 2009. Although Nadia had Igor’s protection and affection, she still missed her friend Cocolina very much. Nadia’s wish fulfilled and the 2 friends met again in the sanctuary.

But Nadia left her brother and her friend behind at the end of 2015 and joined Maya in the Great Bear Constellation.
