Project Description

Suzi is a female brown bear, who lived for 11 years at a Zoo in Roman. Cellmate with Marița, Ursi and Bobiță she had to endure starvation, thirst, cold and dirt same as the others bears. Fortune played them well, the day the Zoo got closed-down because of the inappropriate conditions.
In October 2006 Suzi was released to the first enclosure of the Sanctuary where Ursi was already expecting her. They were plesently surprised when Marița and Bobiță joined them the next day.

For some years they enjoyed together the life they never had. Sadly their friendship was over in 2016 by Marița’s passing. In the fall of 2019 Suzi also left and the friendship is bonded once again in the eternal forest of Ursa Major.
